How we keep listings honest
We cannot promise a deal will go well. We can promise you know who posted the home and how much of the paperwork we saw.
Every listing carries the name of the owner, agent or developer who posted it, and a phone number that only signed-in visitors can see.
We ask for six items: title deed, approved plan, occupancy certificate, tax receipt, society NOC and, for a new project, the RERA number. The listing shows how many we actually saw.
Listings go live straight away. Anything reported, or anything that looks wrong on review, is taken down and goes back to the lister with a note.
Position in search comes from completeness and freshness. No one can pay to be higher.
Red flags
If you see any of these, stop and tell us.
- A price far below the locality rate, with urgency attached
- Any request for money before you have seen the home
- A lister who will only talk on chat and never on a call
- Photos that appear on several unrelated listings
- Refusal to share the title deed or the tax receipt
Where our pincode data comes from
Pincodes, post office names, districts and states come from the Department of Posts All India Pincode Directory published on data.gov.in under GODL-India. Pincode centre points come from GeoNames, used under CC BY 4.0. Pincode centres and the distances we show are approximate, and a pincode is a postal zone rather than a locality.
